Marchand Petit works with local businesses to celebrate the Spring Equinox

To celebrate the Spring Equinox and to support the efforts of Kingsbridge in Bloom, Marchand Petit's Kingsbridge branch have created a flower arch at the entrance to the office.

Marchand Petit has seen their Head Office branch transformed into a beautiful and blooming installation; courtesy of South Hams Fencing and Landscaping and local garden centre, Garden Time, with support from Kingsbridge in Bloom.

A spokesperson for Marchand Petit said: “The Spring Equinox is a day that has been celebrated for thousands of years, and the Georgian building which houses our go-to local property experts is set to bring some much-needed spring sunshine to the town centre, whatever the weather may bring, for the duration of the installation.”

The family run South Hams Fencing and Landscaping team has worked in partnership with Garden Time to transform the usually blank canvas branch exterior simply to delight locals, visitors and passers-by.

The spring window display has been designed to bring a touch of country charm, reminiscent of rural Devon lanes onto the high street.

Kingsbridge Branch Manager, Julia Pollard, said: “After what seems like a very long winter, we wanted to celebrate the official start of spring a little differently this year. The commitments that occupy us all everyday can often mean that we forget, or simply don’t have the time, to stop and appreciate our surroundings.

“With handmade bespoke boxes, fragrant lavender and blooming beautiful plants, the original design was planned to simply bring some scented spring cheer to Fore Street. We hope that it is enjoyed by visitors and locals alike for the duration of the installation.”
