Help to Buy creates increased interest in new homes locally

Andrew Biggs, who heads up Marchant Petit’s Land and New Homes Division has an in depth working knowledge of this sector of the property industry. 

In his career, he has worked on both sides of the table.  Acting as the developer for national companies employing agents and now working on behalf of individuals and house builders, acquiring, selling and specialising in the South West region.

“The government incentives such as Help to Buy are a huge help to the new homes market.  We are also finding that purchasers locally are waking up to the other benefits of buying new, such as a blank canvas to create your own home and garden and the energy efficiency of all new homes, especially for buyers watching their monthly outgoings. The new build warranty is also a draw for buyers of new homes” Andrew added.
