Originally from Manchester, I relocated to Devon at the age of 16 in search of a more rural, country lifestyle. Life certainly changed from my early years, when my parents and I were involved in a brass band, travelling all over the country to compete.
As that chapter of my life came to an end, I discovered a deep passion for horses. This led me to study for four years and build a long career within the equine industry.
Today, I balance my work life with caring for my two horses. I regularly train in preparation for local competitions and shows that may arise in the future.
I’m passionate about combining creativity, discipline and care in everything I do. This is reflected in my journey with my older horse, Tom, whom I’ve owned for over ten years. Our bond has brought me immense pride, earning many rosettes and trophies together. I hope to continue this success with my younger horse, Phoenix, who is currently being brought on and will hopefully bring the same fun and excitement that Tom has given me over the years.
Outside of work and the stables (when I can find the time!), I’m also a keen photographer. I love capturing the natural beauty of the Devon countryside, especially the coastline, the rolling moors, and the outstanding landscapes that make this area so special.
